Michael J. Telepchak, BS, MBA
Mike Telepchak is the CEO/Founder of United Chemical Technologies (UCT), Inc. – an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of solid phase extraction sorbents, specialty chemicals, chromatographic media, and sample preparation products. Mike earned a BS in Chemistry from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA, and an MBA from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, USA. Since UCT began in 1974, Mike, along with associates, has introduced solid-phase extraction chemistry for use in forensic drug analysis. Now detection and analysis of drugs of abuse is a routine procedure in laboratories. Since then, hundreds of articles have been published in scientific literature. UCT products are sold world-wide.
Craig A. Perman, MS Chemistry
Craig A. Perman holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry, and most recently, was a research chemist for 3M Company in St Paul, Minnesota, USA for 25 years before retiring in Colorado. While at 3M, he authored 17 patents in a diversity of areas including supercritical fluid processing for extraction and for preparation of very high strength, low density polymeric foams. Additionally, he was awarded patents for new molecule synthesis for graphic imaging, and devices and methods for solid-phase extraction of drugs and environmental pollutants. Prior to his work at 3M, he received two patents on water purification compositions, and one for silver recovery.
