ICRAV

The biennial International Conference of Racing Analysts and Veterinarians (ICRAV) is the principal forum for interested parties to address scientific, veterinary and welfare issues and regulatory issues facing the racing industry. The Conference facilitates the dissemination of knowledge and ideas vital to maintaining the integrity of racing and the welfare of the horse.

ICRAV is conducted by two non-profit making organizations, the Association of Official Racing Chemists (AORC) and the International Group of Specialist Racing Veterinarians (IGSRV) whose charters are to provide scientific support to the world’s racing authorities. Members of these professional bodies regard ICRAV as an essential forum for addressing analytical and veterinary challenges to racing jurisdictions worldwide. Previous conferences have been held in Montevideo(2016),Mauritius (2014), Philadelphia (2012), New Zealand (2010), Turkey (2008), Japan (2006), Dubai (2004), Florida (2002), England (2000), British Columbia (1998), Australia (1996), Sweden (1994), Louisiana (1992), Southern Africa (1990), Louisville, USA (1988), Hong Kong (1985), Toronto, Canada (1983), Melbourne (1981), Lexington, USA (1979), Dublin, Ireland (1977) and Newmarket, UK (1976).
