Congrats to Sara Demspey, Timothy Lau, and Raquel Leblanc – Winners of the 2017 SOFT Excellence in SPE Awards!
UCT would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Sara Demspey, Timothy Lau, and Raquel Leblanc – Winners of the 2017 SOFT Excellence in SPE Awards. This award appropriately reflects the recent outstanding contributions they made to the field of Solid Phase Extraction in Forensic Science.
Ms. LeBlanc’s work investigated the use of UCT Clean Screen® DAU extraction cartridges for the optimal extraction of eight synthetic piperazines. Mr. Lau expanded upon this research and executed analyte stability studies on these compounds alone and in combination over a 1-year time period. Lastly, Ms. Dempsey evaluated the use of UCT Clean Screen® FASt (Filter & Shoot) extraction cartridges for the analysis of a novel tricyclic antidepressant, Tianeptine.
